Yes there is, and at the guy concordia entry, there is also someone always from stm who can help you out
This station has no elevator, only escalators but not on all sets of stairs.
I'm pregnant and I really wanted a chocolate sponge cake. They ran out, so I got the regular vanilla sponge cake and brought it home to fix my craving. There was a white hair in it. Gross.
Very convenience and there are many options. Delicious!
Good place for Chinese pastries though I feel like they've gone way overboard with the oil / butter in their recipes. I'm sure they could reduce the fat content and still maintain or improve the taste.
Nice place. Very nice service. I came and ordered the Coffee for twice, then the third time I came and they already knew what I wanna order.
I think it’s a bit over price. I bought two bun and it wasn’t properly cooked. The dough was still sticky and clearly not cook so disappointed never going again!
Found a hair in the tiramisu cake.......
Delicious food, perfect Hong Kong style milk tea, friendly staff and very quick service.
Mmmm Cocobun! This is a great place to grab something quick, cheap, and most importantly, delicious.Try their Hong Kong bun, filled with coconut paste! Really, really good pastries. They have a lot of savoury buns as well!
Good customer service until you don't tip lol
Decent place, polite personnel, good quality pastries overall.
My friends and I got the deal for 6 buns and no tax. Very cute patisserie shop within Guy-Concordia station. However, prices were a little steep and the buns were mediocre in taste. Buns were priced at around $1.75 - $2.75. Would recommend coming here for a quick snack.
A wonderful pastry shop with a variety of selections that will not only satisfy your cravings, but will also satisfy that sweet tooth! They have cakes - big and small, sweet buns, savoury buns, and a bunch of cookies to choose from! Not only that, but it’s served by fast paced, fun bakery clerks! Definitely give it a try if you’re near Concordia!
Cheap tasty snacks and pastries. Nice bubble tea options too.
It smells good everytime i go next to that
Food is not prepared or baked properly,Staff is rude,Not coming back here for sure
Before go to the bakery, you need to know how the boss thinks about customers. He thinks the customers are under him :) When I was really sick because of their cake and wanted to get a refund, he laughed and said that cannot refund. I said, I will retain a lawyer. Then he said, I will refund your money. You know what? That means he already knew what he did to me and his attitude was wrong! Make ambulance ready to get the awesome cake that makes you get a sick! :) I hope you have a happy day when you buy a cake for your or your friends' birthday! So please don't trust that they say, we made it today morning! :) Be careful when you visit the bakery! :)
Asian pastries at their best. Cream-filled buns as well as sugar-coated ones will have you coming back for seconds. The salty ones aren't as appealing to me but you can have the better of both worlds in a one stop shop. Drinks can also be had if you go up to the counter.
Why does this place always smell like plastic? The buns also don’t taste authentic. I think an inspection needs to be warranted here - everything is so greasy. The trays, the tongs, the cabinets, everything looks greasy and unclean. I had their food once - will not be going back again.
Pretty good sweets but don't bother with their meat buns! I had a beef curry bun and some of the meat was still red because it was undercooked. Not fun.Other than that, it's alright for a quick and cozy snack.
some of the best bubble tea in montreal, served by the cutest gal!
Very disappointed. Dear students if you want an excuse to skip classes or exams, this is the place to go. I literally spent 10$ of their pastries. And guess what? I woke up sick. The person I shared the buns too, also got sick. Wow! Either, they don't clean the to tongs or the pastries are not fresh. A zero star for this review and a refund would be hella nice.
They told me today that “pearls are extra” ummmm WHAT??? I’ve been buying bubble teas here for months and I know for a fact that they have never charged extra for them before! I’m sitting here drinking a bubbleless bubble tea and plan on going somewhere else from now on, I can’t agree with this new pricing system.Edit: Came back again to give them the benefit of the doubt and yep, turns out from now on they are charging .75 extra for bubbles. For a drink that’s already $5+ it’s ridiculous.
is it healthy? No, not really.is it yummy? YES very much!I love all of what they make there. It's always fresh and not too expensive. If you are hungry for a few bites and you like bread, meat and sweets,it's the place to go!
The girl that works there is so cute! Great buns too. Not on the girl, to eat. But I’d eat her too.
So basically I stop by a Cocobun any chance I get. I especially love the BBQ and teriyaki chicken buns, but at this specific location the teriyaki chicken buns are significantly better than BBQ. Despite the racks displaying around the same amount of buns, seemingly made at the same time, the teriyaki chicken version had much more filling, and were more moist and flavorful. I've had BBQ buns at another location that were perfectly fine though so maybe this location was running a little low on the BBQ goodness that day.I can't remember exactly what else I bought, something like a custard and raisin bread (very good, not overly sweet) and a brioche and cream (again very good).Oh and I would like to also note that these locations do not accept American cards, so if that's all you have then you better put some cash in your pocket.
I often buy bread here, the bread is delicious this is good Chinese tastes. But the price is a little expensive, the clerks service is good! I hope there will be more bread types.
Great selection here. Usually the hot counters only have sausage buns, this place had egg&cheese and it was yumm! Garlic bread was delicious too. Cheap and delicious. Win win :)
A cute little bakery with tastey drinks and food.
My favourite place filled with delicious treats and bubble tea
This Cocobun is at a perfect location. You cannot miss it when coming out of the metro!Every time I am there I can’t help myself but buy something. It’s definitely not healthy at all,but so tasty! I highly recommend!
Their pastries aren’t that good, they’re kind of average. You can find better pastries for cheaper in other Asian bakeries, like Harmonie or even the grocery store, Kim Phat. Customer service is pretty awful, they don’t even look at you in the eye and they just pack your bread, stand there, and wait for you to pay without saying anything. Then the manager (?) comes out of nowhere to put the change in your hand with their wet hand and goes like “Thanks, bye” as soon as you paid and doesn’t even bother to look. I would only go there if I’m dying of hunger and have less than 5$ with me.
The pastries are good but they're unequal. Some are enjoyable and flavorful while some others are plain and tasteless. Staff is friendly and the store is kept clean and stocked.
Fast bite when you study at Concordia
The pastries here are very hit or miss. Egg tarts were pretty good, but the other than that, nothing else tasted fresh. The darker colored 'Portuguese' tart was flavorless and not good at all and the rice cake was disappointingly stale. Also quite pricey compared to most other Asian bakeries.
Overcooked tapioca pearls and way too sweet mango tea.
Very nice and tasty pastries there. Buble teas are good too! I often stop by to get breakfast or snacks. They taste better compared with western cakes and are not too sweet, so suitable for asian people particularly. Shop looks clean and is convenient to go since it's inside the metro. This is especially good for winter. I really recommend this cocobun!
A little bit pricier than other asian bakery, but its really fresh and tastier. Good service.
girl working there.... I think her name tag said abby? Incredible service! I was honestly shocked by, not only how quick she was, but the beautiful smile on her face the whole time! Everyone definitely needs to grab a bubble tea here!
Classic recipes from Cantonese baking. Hong Kong milk tea with bubbles is the best!!!
there are some really good breads and some that are really artificial flavour. Their cakes are apparently good too, but be careful when you get your change back! they might give you fake bills in return. The last time, I got a fake 10$ in return.
I ordered a bubble tea and asked for it without sugar. the guy stopped and didn't add any sugar into the cup but when I turned away and back, I saw him adding sugar.
They have a great assortment at a cheap price. Used to go here for a quick bite for lunch or snacks. Love some of the cute stuff. My fave is the green tea cookies. You can also get bubble tea. The cakes are also very good. I like them because they aren't too sweet. The topping is whipped cream which also makes it light and fluffy. You don't feel so bad eating it unlike other cakes.
As much as I love passing to grab a pastry, the attitude of one of their staff, disappointed me BIG TIME. I asked for a mango bubble tea, and asked for a milk. At some point she said no, then I said just add milk and I pay the difference. She added $4 dollars!!it did not made any sense anymore. I kept my pastry and walked out. I ordered something similar before they added $1. Maybe my english was horrible, the background music was too loud or maybe I'm deaf because I had trouble understanding her to top all that! I understand the frustration on working in a restaurant, I work on one. She needs to drop the attitude, I have enough myself. I passed by on 1-23 at 7:45 AM.
A bit pricey compared to most asian bakeries but good selection and staff
its been said before but ill say it again because its just so dang true, great buns! and great service!
Very good drinks and bread. Super nice and fast service. I like the fresh fruit tea best~~~
Don't buy cake from here. I bought the cake for my girlfriends birthday and there was some solid things inside the cake(kind of plastic). And the boss never did apologize. HOW RUUUUUDE. It was first birthday in Montreal!!
I am coming there since one year and a half, i always take custom bubbletea. They always make an extra effort to make it well, that's why i am still going there. Especially FANNY, MERLIN and KATE, they really know how to make a good bubbleatea. The bakeries are good as well :)
There's not much I can say about this place that hasn't already been said. For people who go to Concordia, this is a staple. For a quick bite or a refreshing drink, it doesn't get better than this. Although we have plenty of options around, nothing is as convenient. It's in the metro and in between the EV building and the underground passage to the H building and LB building.Everything here is delicious. You won't be disappointed. It's also very affordable.
